A) The equipment requirements to be an IVTV Independent Contractor are of a professional standard but relatively straightforward.
You need a professional quality (not domestic camcorder) broadcast standard Video Camera, a tripod (preferably fluid head), and easy access to a steadicam flyer/glidecam harness or similar. You will also need basic editing software and the ability to transfer footage to DVD at a high quality standard.
